Colorado GOP chairman quits because he's 'tired of the nuts'

The chair of Colorado's politico Party says he won't be streaming for a third term. Why? He's "tired of the nuts who hit no grasp of what the land party's persona is."
Dick Wadhams, ostensibly not a big fan of the Tea Party, told another Republicans in a memo obtained by the Denver Post that "I hit tired of those who are concerned with seeing conspiracies around every crossway and who hit terribly foolish notions of what the persona of the land band is patch saying 'uniting conservatives' is all that is needed to get combative races across the state."
Colorado Republicans fared miserably in 2010, mostly because the fledgling far-right candidates who won primaries lapse apart before the generalized election. "In both cases," says Steve Benen at the Washington Monthly, "Wadhams desired a more combative candidate for the statewide contests, but his desirable hopefuls forfeited in party primaries --they weren't extreme sufficiency for the party's base."
One wonders if these imperfectness lines will separate the party into digit parties, one mainstream Republicans and the other, tea partiers.
