Home-court plus ran rampant finished the Valley this season, as every aggroup posted a .500 achievement or better playing in face of their possess fans.  The Valley members dominated their way to a 112-47 achievement overall at home, and a 56-34 place in association play.  That evidenced adjuvant against non-conference opponents (ignore the Bracketbuster weekend) and could have meaning in postseason tournaments with less than quaternary letters.

Unfortunately, Arch Madness is played on a viewless floor.  Bad news?  The association went meet 10-8 against opponents with court neutrality.  Good news?  Somebody has to get this tournament.

With the conference’s RPI unwaveringly stuck in threefold digits, the NCAA Selection Committee probable won’t provide a second conference effort the time of day.  Siouan State has the best quantity at chance their study mentioned with the whole “best aggroup not to be included” honor after Selection Sunday, but let’s be open â€" the succeeder of Arch Madness module be without a association diversion partner come March 13.

That said, we now undergo that the lawful season, and everything added that fans sweated, swore and expiration sleep over, meant dead nothing.  The content is to schedule a dolphin non-conference schedule, do well in your conference and catch the eye of the committee should you walk in your association tournament.  The Valley unsuccessful miserably here; depending on your source, the association hierarchical amongst the worst in the country in booking calibre games outside their possess league. 

The result?  Even Siouan State, who currently holds an RPI of around 40 and is the Valley’s only quantity at an at-large bid, has no wins against top-100 teams.  Their mode victory?  Oral Roberts?  Pacific?  St. Louis?  Like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic… it makes no difference.

So the next quaternary days module decide who gets into the discothèque and who is mitt to oppose invitations to the distinction dances.  Quick analysis, anyone?
