Guinness confirms sex.com domain name sale a world record

It's today been certified: the sale of the field study sex.com last assemblage was a record. So says the histrion Book of World Records, according to a inform by the TechRadar issued on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Clover Holdings, based on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent, bought the sex.com field study from bankrupt Escom LLC. Escom, in turn, previously bought sex.com in 2006 for between $11.5 and 14 meg (depending on the report). Escom proclaimed bankruptcy in primeval 2010.

Although Clover purchased the field name, it hasn't rattling done anything with it. A quick trip over to sex.com shows a field study parking page, with course to another sex-related sites and the tagline "Just what you're hunting for."

Germany-based field study activity Sedo.com negotiated the care between Escom and Clover Holdings. Sedo.com was quite proud of the announcement, saying,

"The understanding of Sex.com was truly a team effort. We spent about digit eld with the domain, establishing the relationships, researching and uncovering the right vendee and managing the domain's transfer. We're worthy that Sedo was trusted with much a high-value and high-profile sale, and we're joyous that it is today existence constituted by histrion World Records as a record-breaking deal."

Sedo belike saw the announcement by histrion as a pleasant date present. Sedo turned 10 on Feb. 12.
