President Obama and Mayor-Elect Emanuel Met at the White House

This weekend and next, Chicago's Mayor-Elect Rahm Emanuel is in Washington, D.C. to meet his wife, Amy Rule, and his three children.  While Emanuel has been in metropolis preparing to transition into his new job as Chicago's mayor, his family is remaining in a rented house until the end of the edifice assemblage so the children can complete their assemblage of studying before returning to metropolis as the First Family of the Windy City. 

While in the nation's capital, Emanuel prefabricated a down-played meet to the White House.  He entered and exited finished a less prominent entrance to refrain the cameras right the White House.  Yet, when digit older friends same Emanuel and President Barack Obama got together, it was difficult to keep it a secret.  Yet, the gathering between the digit was just that - secretive.  White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was asked most the meet and said that, for every he knows, it was simply a personal visit. 

Besides gathering with Obama personally for the prototypal instance since he was elected Mayor of Chicago, it's reported that Emanuel prefabricated the rounds by temporary his past body memebers, the White House press, and others as he walked around the halls of the White House.  He also had an opportunity to chat with his older friend and replacement, White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley.  From the report, Emanuel was rattling happy to see the members of the White House, and the opinion was shared on the part of the White House personnel.
